Barry N. Stein D.D.S.

Dr. Barry Stein grew up in Highland Park and graduated from Highland Park High School in 1978. He attended the University of Illinois at Chicago Circle for three years when he was accepted to Northwestern University Dental School.

Dr. Stein graduated from Northwestern Dental School in 1985. Dr. Stein received an award for excellence in periodontics from Quintessence Publishing Company at graduation. While in dental school, Dr. Stein spent two summers working for the State of Colorado, treating children of migrant farmworkers. After returning to the Deerfield area, he opened his practice in 1985. Dr. Barry Stein has been in Deerfield for 37 years serving families in town.

Dr. Barry Stein was a part-time faculty member at Northwestern University’s Dental School for 11 years. During that time, he taught in the dental clinic in fixed prosthetics and operative dentistry departments.

Dr. Stein belongs to the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Stein lives in Riverwoods and is married to his wife, Wendy. They have three children, Jessie, Devin, and Brandon. In Dr. Stein’s free time, he enjoys running marathons, working out, collecting and working on classic corvettes, painting, sculpting, and home remodeling.
